Thermal Imaging Associates offers a non-destructive, non-invasive way to identify and pinpoint problem areas that may cause your comfort level and energy efficiency to decrease. With the help of an Infrared camera we can create images (called Thermograms) that show surface heat variations down to 1/10th of a degree.
A Thermal Imaging Survey can detect the following issues in the building envelope:
- Air infiltration and ex-filtration
- Missing, damaged, or misapplied insulation.
- Excessive moisture.
It can also identify:
- Leaking HVAC ductwork.
- Blockages or leaks in radiant in-floor heating.
- Overloaded wiring in walls and outlets.
- Circuit breakers that are overloaded at the time of survey.
Once Thermal Imaging Associates has completed the thermal survey of your home, a report will be generated with analysis of the issues identified by the thermal images. You can then use the analysis and any recommendations to plan corrective actions that will help lower your energy bills and increase your energy efficiency.
